Board of Directors

Darin Labrenz, P.Geo.

President and CEO and Director
Mr. Labrenz is a registered professional geologist with over 19 years of experience in the mineral exploration industry. Most recently, Mr. Labrenz was Vice President Business Development for Terrane Metals Corp., a recently acquired BC based exploration and mine development company. Prior to Terrane, Mr. Labrenz was employed by the Placer Dome group, where he was responsible for the design and supervision of exploration programs, management of geological activities at both underground and open pit mining operations, as well as technical support and geological management of several feasibility studies and economic evaluations.

Brian P. Fowler, P.Geo., Chairman

Mr. Fowler has worked for a number of junior, mid-tier and major mining companies on a global basis for more than 30 years as an exploration geologist, consultant, analyst and mining executive. Between 1991 and 2004, Mr. Fowler worked in a variety of technical and managerial roles for Placer Dome Inc., based in Western Canada. Throughout that time Mr. Fowler managed a regional exploration office, worked on and managed a number of advanced stage, feasibility-level projects and evaluations (Musselwhite, Mt. Milligan, South Deeps), and advised and directed Minex exploration at a number of company mines in Canada, Chile, the United States, Australia and PNG. Subsequent to this, Mr. Fowler was Exploration Manager for Quadra Mining Ltd. (QuadraFNX Mining Ltd.) until 2005, where he oversaw advanced and pre-feasibility exploration projects in Chile and Peru. Mr. Fowler also worked for 1 year as a mining consultant for Quest Capital Corp., where he evaluated exploration and mining investment opportunities and sourced management groups and exploration assets for start-up companies. Mr. Fowler has been President and CEO of BCGold Corp. since 2006, is a founding director of Laurentian Goldfields Ltd. and is a founding director and CEO of RedQuest Capital Corp.
Mr. Fowler received a Bachelor of Science (Special) in Geology from the University of Alberta in 1981 and is a registered Professional Geologist in the Province of B.C.

Lenora Gates

Ms. Gates had an outstanding career with a national real estate company prior to forming Gates Real Estate Services Ltd. in 1996. Ms. Gates is the President of Gates Real Estate and also co-founded Orange National Retail Group in January 2002. Ms. Gates is a Licensed Real Estate Agent in the Province of British Columbia and has over 21 years of retail tenant representation experience. She has exclusively represented and successfully negotiated over 500 contracts for Starbucks Coffee Company over a 14 year period and has received numerous awards for her work done on Starbucks' behalf. Ms. Gates was a Director and Corporate Secretary and Treasurer for Evolution Ventures Inc., a TSX-V CPC company which completed its qualifying transaction in May 2003 and now trades as Bear Creek Mining. In 2000 and 2004, Lenora was nominated as "Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year". Lenora has served on the Board of CREW since 2008, has served on the board of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation since 2002 and has chaired their Awareness Day Luncheon since 2007. She was the key note speaker at the 8th annual "The Night of Hope 2007", a successful fund raiser for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Lenora was co-founder of Lifelines Targeted Fundraising which raised over $700,000 for the purchase of the first Digital Image Mammography Machine located and in use in the British Columbia Cancer Agency.

Greg Hall

Mr. Hall is the Interim Managing Director of Triton Gold. Mr. Hall's most recent position was Chief Geologist of Placer Dome Group, a post he held for more than 5 years. Mr. Hall has more than 30 years of experience in the exploration and mining industry, 25 years of which were in Western Australia. He was directly involved in discovering Rio Tinto's Yandi iron ore mine and Barrick Gold's Granny Smith mine, and took part in the discoveries of Keringal and Wallaby in Australia's Eastern Goldfields, as well as the definition of AngloGold Ashanti's Sunrise gold mine.Mr. Hall is also a Director of Colossus Minerals and China Gold International Resource Corporation.

Derek White, CA.

Mr. White has over 23 years of financial experience in the mining and metals industry and currently serves as a director on two public company and four private company boards. He started his career in 1986 with Coopers & Lybrand LLC, in Vancouver and Johannesburg. In 1992, he joined Impala Platinum Ltd. and held financial management positions in both mine operations in South Africa and metals trading in London. He joined Billiton International Metals BV in 1994, as part of the Gencor Ltd. acquisition team, and held executive financial positions in The Hague, London, and Toronto where he was Chief Financial Officer of the Base Metals Division, formed after the acquisition by Billiton Plc of Rio Algom Ltd. In 2003, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of International Vision Direct Corp., an online contact lens retailer and winner of the 2003 Ernst & Young LLP - Pacific Region Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In, 2004 Mr. White joined Quadra Mining Ltd. as VP Corporate Development. In 2012, Quadra was acquired by KGHM International Ltd. where Mr. White remains VP Corporate Development. Mr. White also holds an undergraduate degree in Geological Engineering.

Dr. Mark O'Dea Ph.D., P.Geo

Dr. O'Dea has a track record of creating strong, well-financed companies built on high-quality projects and run by technical leaders. As President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Fronteer Gold (2001 to 2011), Dr. O'Dea rapidly grew the company from a $2 million venture shell into a well-funded, high profile, development-focused gold company acquired in 2011 by Newmont Mining Corp. for $2.3 billion. Over the past decade, Dr. O'Dea has raised more than $650 million through equity financings, equity investments and asset divestitures, providing strong returns to his shareholders and bringing great financial strength and stability to his companies. Importantly, Dr. O'Dea and his team have a proven track record of discovery having been integral in advancing and/or discovering five large gold and gold/copper deposits located in Nevada and Turkey and two world scale uranium deposits in Labrador. Dr. O'Dea is also Chairman of both Blue Gold Mining Inc and Pilot Gold Inc. He is a Professional Geologist, holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree from Carleton University and a Ph.D. in structural geology from Monash University, Australia.

Catherine McLeod-Seltzer

Advisor to Board of Directors
Ms. McLeod-Seltzer is the Chairman of Pacific Rim Mining Corp. and a recognized leader in the minerals industry. She has raised over $450 million in working capital for exploration to date, and has been involved in over $4 billion in corporate transactions in the mining industry. Her leadership experience, financial know-how, access to capital, and respect from the exploration and mining community has been an invaluable asset to the companies she has been involved with. Ms. McLeod-Seltzer is well known in mining circles for backing proven mine finders and helping build successful mineral companies, including Arequipa Resources, Bear Creek Mining, Stornoway Diamond and Peru Copper, Francisco Gold, and Miramar Mining. She was named Mining Man of the Year by the Northern Miner in 1999.
