Laurentian Goldfields Ltd.'s 100% owned Belcourt project is located approximately 45 kilometres northeast of Val D'Or, Quebec. The Belcourt project comprises four non-contiguous blocks totaling 110 claims, extending 15 km east-west and 13 km north-south. Access to the Belcourt project is provided by Provincial highway 386 from Barraute to Senneterre, which passes through the southern portion of the claims. Numerous secondary roads cross the claims.
In 2011, Laurentian signed an option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in 6 contiguous claims immediately east and adjacent to its Belcourt property bringing the total number of claims to 110

In July 2011, Laurentian optioned the Belcourt property to Pershimco Resources Inc. The agreement grants Pershimco the right to acquire a 100% interest in the Belcourt property by paying Laurentian an aggregate cash payment of $800,000 and spending $1,000,000 on exploration on the property over three years.
